DVC offers little help to owners when it’s time to sell and leaves owners struggling to find their own way to sell their Deeds if that time comes OR they offer you pennies on the dollar to buy it back from you, if at all. Which is why we branched out here in CA to have a West Coast presence and service our West Coast families.

Our team at DBKS ONLY makes money when the contract is sold. All the marketing costs associated with selling your DVC membership are paid by us.

Our low commission rate of 5% is way under the industry standard and we’re all about giving our members the best value we can!

You will receive the same great service, have access to member services, have a DVC Sales Guide and have access to the 14 Legacy DVC Resorts and all of the World Collection Resorts (Interval International). You just can’t use your resale points on Disney Cruises, select Disney Hotels or Adventures by Disney.

DVC considers these extra options as “incidental benefits” of Membership and reserves the right to discontinue them at any time regardless of how the membership is purchased. They are in the DVC purchase agreements as only valid for 3 years and can change or be taken away at anytime, which DVC has done over the years.

Many direct members express frustration with certain events, such as Moonlight Magic, where it’s a limited capacity event that features a “Virtual Queue” type of system to register for those events and many members don’t make it in, so again, paying for a “benefit” that many never get to enjoy.

They used to offer a morning breakfast for members at Disneyland Hotel each week called Royal Member Gathering, which was taken away before COVID, so yes, benefits can & do change and can be taken away whenever DVC feels like it.

DVC Members that did not purchase resale prior to April 4, 2016 must maintain a minimum of 150 direct purchased points to  receive certain incidental benefits such as discounts on annual passes, dining and shopping and access to some Member Events.

Effective January 19, 2019, resale contracts purchased for the existing 14 Disney Vacation Club Resorts (DVC Resorts Opened Prior to 2019, commonly known as the 14 Legacy DVC Resorts) will only be able to exchange Points into those 14 Resorts.

Many members realize by purchasing resale and by utilizing certain things, such as Disney Visa card, discounted Disney gift cards, etc. you can still enjoy nice park discounts on food / merch and also take advantage of tremendous savings through resale.

DVC members receive mostly a 10% discount off food / merch (a FEW places give us 20% off, but rare).  By having a Disney Visa card, you can receive the same 10% off food / merch but still enjoy the tremendous savings of buying through resale!
